Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach

Location: In Flagler Beach, off A1A, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.
Facilities: 34 full-facility campsites, dune walkovers, picnic tables, nature trail, beach, showers, restrooms (é), boat ramp, boat basin, kayak rentals.
Activities: Camping, saltwater fishing, boating, canoeing, swimming, bicycling, hiking, wildlife viewing.
Special Features: Daily low tide is a good time to observe shore birds feeding in tidal ponds. At night during the summer months, sea turtles crawl onto the beach to lay their eggs. The park is named for Florida folk singer Gamble Rogers and railroad entrepreneur Henry Flagler.
