Garabogazkol

Garabogazkol (gərä'bəgäz'kôl`) or Kara-Bogaz-Gol (kərä'-bəgäz'-gôl`), shallow bay,, in Turkmenistan. An arm of the Caspian Sea, it acts as a natural evaporation basin, drawing off the water of the Caspian and depositing salts along its shores.
