Facilities: 17 primitive campsites, primitive group and shelter sites, trails.
Activities: Camping, freshwater fishing, hunting, hiking, horseback riding, bicycling, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, ATV riding, birding.
Special Features: In 1906, a portion of this forest was given to the state, which became the foundation of Maryland's present public lands system.
