Location: South end of Gasparilla Island via the Boca Grande Causeway (private toll) at County Road 775 and Placida.
Facilities: Beach, showers, restrooms (é), nature trails, picnic areas, museum (lighthouse), visitor center.
Activities: Saltwater fishing, canoeing/kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, shelling, hiking, bicycling, wildlife viewing, interpretive programs (seasonal).
Special Features: A barrier island on Florida's southwest coast, Gasparilla Island is the site of the restored Boca Grande Lighthouse, built in 1890.
