A family of popular graphics processors from NVIDIA that is widely used in display adapters from peripheral vendors. PC vendors may also feature GeForce graphics in their desktop and laptop computers. The GeForce logo, which dates back to 1999, means that the graphics processing chip came from NVIDIA, not the entire display circuit. See display adapter and NVIDIA.
