It came after an Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) report released earlier yesterday ordered further and "urgent" inspections on helicopter gearboxes.
All are equipped with either five or six-speed manual gearboxes as standard and, for the first time, some will be offered with a seven-speed DSG gearbox.
Manual gearboxes are inexpensive to build and can be up to 97% efficient.
