Genichesk Strait

 

a narrow strait between the Arabat Spit and the seacoast; it connects the Sea of Azov with the Sivash Gulf. Length, approximately 4 km; width, 80-150 m; depth, 4.6 m. Currents depend on winds. The port of Genichesk is on the seacoast.
