Gentex 

(Generalized Teletype Exchange Service), an international telegraph net of general use, which is equipped with automatic commutative telegraph stations with direct connections. The Moscow telegraph station, which is part of GENTEX, is connected with similar stations in a number of European socialist countries by international communication channels. Other telegraph stations in the USSR are connected with GENTEX stations by dialing their numbers through the Moscow station.
