Geodeziia i Kartografiia 

(Geodesy and Cartography), a scientific, technical, and industrial journal; the organ of the Central Board of Geodesy and Cartography, which is under the Council of Ministers of the USSR. Geodeziia i kartografiia is published in Moscow (since 1956), appearing 12 times a year. The journal’s predecessors were Geodezist (1925-40) and Sbornik nauchno-tekhnicheskikh i proizvodstvennykh statei po geodezii, kartografii, topografii, aeros”emke i gravimetrii (Collection of Scientific, Technical, and Industrial Articles on Geodesy, Cartography, Topography, Aerial Surveying, and Gravimetry, 1941-50). The journal publishes articles on timely questions related to the technical policies of the State Topographic, Geodetic, and Cartographic Service, theoretical and industrial articles on geodesy, cartography, photogrammetry, geodetic astronomy and gravimetry, space triangulation, and engineering geodesy. Circulation in 1971, approximately 8,500.
