As you climb to the high point of your trek the landscape will become noticeably more arid and dramatic and you will be surrounded by the giant mountains of the Annapurna range.
Just a few miles from the hotel is the Beinn Eighe nature reserve, named after one of the giant mountains which makes up the Torridon range.
Wherever you stand, it won't take too long to look up to the giant mountains which push in on either side of the valley.
