Glaciolacustrine Deposits 

the bottom sediments of lake basins deposited by glacial meltwater flowing along the margin of a glacier or among fields of dead ice. The deposits consist of sorted, predominantly stratified, formations of varying composition, from coarse sands (riparian facies) to clays. Varved clays are most characteristic of such deposits.
