glue logic |
Also found in: Wikipedia | 0.01 sec. |
glue logicA simple logic circuit that is used to connect complex logic circuits together. For example, an ASIC chip may contain large functions, such as a microprocessor, memory block or communications block, which are tied together via small amounts of glue logic. At the printed circuit board (PCB) level, glue logic may be implemented with simple "jelly bean" chips ("glue chips") that contain a few gates all the way to programmable logic devices (see PLD). See IC macro, standard cell and discrete logic. How to thank TFD for its existence? The glueless Laminate ceiling planks are installed using a specially designed, patented dip system and include a Lifetime Limited warranty. The DM642 digital media processors have all the integrated I/O and streaming capabilities--including on-chip HD-capable video ports, glueless 10/100 Ethernet connectivity, multi-channel audio, and 66 MHz PCI connectivity--to develop true high-definition systems, and TI's extensive third-party network supplies the necessary software for compressing and decompressing both audio and video streams. The NAND Flash solution supports glueless connectivity to the application processor, using a 16- or 32-bit local bus, and handles one x8 Flash device or two x8 devices in parallel. |
