Richard Benedikt. 1878--1958, US geneticist, born in Germany. He advanced the theory that heredity is determined by the chemical configuration of the chromosome molecule rather than by the qualities of the individual genes

Eric Goldschmidt, senior partner at Scarsdale, NY based Goldschmidt & Associates, announced that his firm's hotel division partner, Scarsdale International, arranged a 14,000 s/f lease for the luxury international spa operated by its client, Guerlain Spa at the world famous Waldorf Astoria in New York City.
With Ettore Mazzoleni, Arnold Walter and Nicholas Goldschmidt, who had worked with him at the opera at Troppau in pre-war Czechoslovakia, Torel was a co-founder of what is now the Canadian Opera Company.
India, recently announced it has established an exclusive marketing partnership with Goldschmidt Personal Care, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Degussa GmbH, in which Goldschmidt will distribute select specialized, standardized botanical extracts from Sabinsa, all specifically developed for cosmeceutical use, to the personal care industry worldwide.
