Google Product Search

Also found in: Wikipedia 0.01 sec.
Google Product Search
A search service from Google that specializes in finding products and the stores where they can be purchased. Originally known as "Froogle," merchants do not pay Google to rank their products, and there is no wallet or shopping cart function. Its original name was a play on the word "frugal" that nicely rhymed with Google. For more information, visit www.google.com/products. See Google.

Now when anyone searches for a product on the web - Google Product Search will list the products and the stores selling them on the web.
According to the company, all of Cavalier's new and current Hi-Speed Internet subscribers will have access to Google's communications tools such as Gmail e-mail services, Google Calendar for shared scheduling, Google Product Search for shopping, Google Picasa for photos, as well as the Google Start Page feature, which will allow subscribers to create a customisable home page.
Like a few others on the market, Google Product Search provides prices, pictures and links to retailers so that we don't have to sift through page after page of irrelevant product information.
