Google FiberBroadband Internet access using optical fibers from Google. Pilot projects started in 2012 in the twin cities Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri. Provo, Utah and Austin, Texas followed, and Google is expected to disclose the names of many more cities in 2015.
Free for Basic, Paid for 1 Gbps
Free access delivers 5 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload speeds, while paid subscriptions provide 1 Gbps down and up, cloud storage and optional TV and DVR service. TV service with 150 channels is also available. See Google and Project Fi.
