a mud-bath seaside resort near the city of Golaia Pristan’, Kherson Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. The summers are hot with average July temperatures of 23° C and the winters are mild with average January temperatures of -3° C. Annual precipitation is approximately 350 mm. Remedies include the silty mud and brine of Lake Gopri. Treatment is available for patients with diseases of the organs of motion and support, illnesses of the peripheral nervous system, and gynecological ailments. There is a sanatorium and a water and mud treatment center. The season is from May to October.
