Goremykin, Ivan Longinovich (ēvän` lən-gē`nəvĭch gəryĭmĭ`kĭn), 1839–1917, Russian statesman. He was arrested briefly after the February Revolution (1917) in Russia, but was allowed to retire to his estate in the Caucasus, where he was murdered by a mob, probably Bolsheviks. |
