Goriachinsk
a health resort in the Buriat ASSR, 186 km from the city of Ulan-Ude. It is located on the eastern shore of Lake Baikal. Summers are relatively cool with average August temperatures of approximately 14° C, and winters are cold with average February temperatures of –19° C. Annual precipitation is about 300 mm.
