Asiasat-G is a low-power Russian built Gorizont satellite and does not match the characteristics Asiasat filed with the ITU for the position at 77.
Domestic communication satellite systems are being operated by Canada (Anik), India (Insat), Indonesia (Palapa), Japan (CS), USSR (Ekran, Gorizont, Raduga, Molniya, Loutch) and the United States (Comstar, Galaxy, RCA Statcom, SBS, Westar).
The consolidation of Gorizont RT, Sibintertelecom, Barash, Kvant and others contributed a total of US$ 153.
