Gornozavodsk

(before 1965. the settlement of Novopashiiskii), a city, the center of Gornozavodsk Raion, Perm’ Oblast. RSFSR. It has a railroad station (Pashiia) 54 km east of the city of Chusovoi. Gornozavodsk has large cement factories and a lumber industry.

Gornozavodsk

(before 1947, Naikhoro), a town in Nevel’sk Raion, Sakhalin Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on the southwestern coast of the island of Sakhalin. It has a railroad station 18 km south of the city of Nevel’sk. Gornozavodsk mines coal and produces building materials. It has been a town since 1947.
