Gosiorovský, Miloŝ 

Born May 28, 1920, in the city of Vrútky. Czechoslovak historian; corresponding member of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences (1960). Slovak by nationality.

Since 1951, Gosiorovský has been a professor at J. A. Komensky University in Bratislava. During 1961–65 he was chief academic secretary of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. He is a specialist in the modern and recent history of Czechoslovakia and the Czechoslovak Communist Party. Gosiorovský received the State Prize of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in 1952.
