Granite Ghost Town State Park Location: 6 miles east of Philipsburg on forest road. Facilities: Interpretive displays. Special Features: Park preserves remnants of a once-thriving 1890s silver boomtown, comprising the Granite Mine superintendent's house and the ruins of the old miners' union hall, which reputedly had the "Northwest's Finest Dance Floor."
