This particular retail space is in one of a row of houses designed and built by John Hemingway Duncan in 1892, about the same time he was working on the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument Arch in Brooklyn and Grant's Tomb in Central Park.
The cover features the iconic 1968 image of The Who sleeping under the British flag atop Grant's Tomb.
Designed by John Duncan, the designer of Grant's Tomb, the five-story elevatored townhouse is located at the northwest corner of Madison Avenue and 84th Street.
