Grayson Lake State Park Location: Exit 172 on I-64 onto KY 7 south. Facilities: 71 campsites with utility hookups, showers, and restrooms, picnic area, 2 picnic shelters, 3 playgrounds, hiking trail, beach, bathhouse, boat ramp. Activities: Camping, swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, nature study, golf. Special Features: Majestic sandstone bluffs form a walled canyon above Grayson Lake, where Shawnee and Cherokee Indians once camped under the cliffs as they hunted game in the area. The park's 18-hole, par-72 golf course, Hidden Cove, was named one of 2004's best new affordable golf courses by <i>Golf Digest</i>.
