The team from Swansea University in south Wales has created Seraticin, a drug made from the secretions of green bottle fly larvae.
British researchers develop new drug - with maggots by AFP / AFP Global Edition
They used sterile "free-range" larvae from the green bottle fly Lucilia Sericata, which were applied between two and eight times for four days at a time.
