A lot of people think of green design as things that aren't quite as beautiful as their nongreen competitors, but in this case these repurposed woods are even more gorgeous. As we have gotten involved with green design, there has been an evolution that has taken place, taking both the internal impacts of green elements on the building and on the environment at large, and approaching these projects in a more holistic way. But the old ways of doing things tend to slow down what would otherwise be a full-fledged green design revolution. |
