Gregory the Illuminator 

(Gregory Partev). Born in the late third century; died in the early fourth century A .D. The apostle of Christianity among the Armenians. Gregory was the first catholicos and the founder of the Armenian apostolic church, sometimes called the Armenian-Gregorian Church.

Gregory the Illuminator is one of two Armenian churches in Cairo and the only Armenian Apostolic Church in the city.
The church's full name is the Armenian Apostolic Church of St Gregory the Illuminator.
Thian Hock Keng temple, Sri Mariamman Temple, Temple of 1,000 Lights, Chettiar Hindu Temple, Sultan Mosque, Hajah Fatimah Mosque, Church of St Gregory the Illuminator, Cathedral of the Good Shepherd, Sri Thandayuthapani Temple are some of the names of these sacred places.
