Location:In southeast Alaska, west of Ketchikan. Accessible only by plane or boat.
Facilities:Public-use cabin, trails, toilets.
Activities:Boating, fishing, hiking, scuba diving, beachcombing.
Special Features:Grindall Island is a protected holdover spot for small boats venturing across Clarence Strait from Ketchikan during stormy weather. The southern tip of the island is an established sea lion haul-out site.
