Guarulhos 

a city in Brazil, on the right bank of the Tietê River, adjoining Säo Paulo. Population, 119,600 (1968, including suburbs). It is a highway junction. Guarulhos has a ferrous metal industry, machine building, a building-materials industry, and pulp-and-paper production.
