The cassiduloid family Faujasiidae Lambert 1905 is the most diverse and widely distributed group of non-burrowing, sand-dwelling, "sand dollar"-like irregulars in Gulfian (Turonian--Maastrichtian) deposits of North America (NA).
The bourgueticrinid Dunnicrinus, published from Late Maastrichtian deposits in Mississippi, the Netherlands, and Delaware, is now recorded from earlier Gulfian deposits in Mississippi.
