Hückel's 4n + 2 rule [′hu̇k·əlz ¦fȯr ‚en pləs ′tü ‚rül]
(organic chemistry) Aromatic (ring) compounds must have 4n+ 2 pi-bonding electrons, wherenis a whole number and generally limited ton= 0 to 5.
