I found some of the haemodynamic monitoring difficult to understand because at that stage I had not had much exposure to these machines and equipment. This was due to the intraoperative administration of high dose opioids and anaesthetics, which affected the patients' consciousness levels and impaired respiration, requiring prolonged ventilation and haemodynamic monitoring. |
