Hall, Rosetta S. (b. Sherwood) (1865–1951) physician/missionary; born in Liberty, N.Y. Besides conducting groundbreaking medical and educational work in Korea, she also championed the education of sight- and hearing-impaired persons there (1890–1933). She was the founder of both the Baldwin Dispensary, later to become the Lillian Harris Memorial Hospital (1892), and the Women's Medical (Training) Institute in Seoul (1928). |
