Location:1 mile south of Exit 62 from I-95.
Facilities:558 open campsites, showers, restrooms, picnic shelter, picnic tables, beach, walking trails, boardwalk, car top boat launch, food concession, nature center (é). A limited number of specialized beach wheelchairs are available for disabled visitors.
Activities:Camping (seasonal; mid-April-Columbus Day), carry-in boating, saltwater fishing, swimming, scuba diving, hiking, bicycling, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Connecticut's largest public beach facility offers visitors two miles of white sandy beach.
