Tighten locknut and attach new supply connector to valve shank, then tighten coupling nut 1/2-turn past hand-tight.
After you drain the pump housing, tighten the wing nut hand-tight only.
Turn the air outlet nut clockwise with your fingers until it's hand-tight.
