Handa

Handa (hän`dä), city (1990 pop. 99,330), Aichi prefecture, S central Honshu, Japan, on the Chita Peninsula and Chita Bay. Handa, known for its cotton textiles, brewing, and food processing industries, was a commercial port during the Tokugawa era.
