This unique combination enables multiple users to access the equivalent of up to six CD-ROMs from the hard drive cache at on-line speed. The software solutions also provides intelligent queue management, in addition to providing the capability to migrate heavily used CD-ROMs data directly to hard drive cache for transparent system access. Network administrators simply insert a CD into the server, and the controller automatically copies the information from the CDs onto the hard drive cache to provide access to CD-based data at the speed of a hard drive. |
