Location: 10 miles west of downtown Peoria on I-74 (exit 82 south).
Facilities: On-site lodging (cabins, cottages, converted horse stables, rail cars, hotel room [@di]), banquet facilities, meeting rooms, dining room, cafe, gift shops, picnic areas, walking trails, restrooms.
Activities: Wildlife viewing, fishing, interpretive programs.
Special Features: Zoological park showcases Illinois native wildlife: wolves, bison, black bear, elk, cougar, otters, waterfowl, and other wildlife. Other features include a butterfly garden, a restored prairie, Pioneer Farmstead with petting area and historic buildings, and train rides.
