Headlands Beach State Park Location: 27 miles from Cleveland, in the northeast corner of the state. Facilities: Picnic areas, picnic shelter, restrooms, swimming beach, food concession, playground. Activities: Boating, fishing, swimming, cross-country skiing, sledding. Special Features: Park's trademark is its mile-long natural beach, the largest in the state. The area is home to many plant species typically found only along the Atlantic Coast.
