In a similar move, Iwaki-Daio Paper, Iwaki-shi, will install two bio-mass boilers with the objective of eliminating the use of heavy oil at its mill.
SOUTH JORDAN, Utah -- Headwaters Incorporated (NYSE:HW) today announced that it has scheduled the fourth commercial run of its HCAT catalyst technology designed to improve the upgrading of heavy oil to lighter transportation fuels like diesel and gasoline.
Included projects will also include a change from heavy oil to a natural gas boiler at Takasago, and a new boiler burning waste material, such as waste wood and tires, instead of heavy oil in Hachinohe.
