Hennigsdorf 

a city in the German Democratic Republic, in the district of Potsdam; situated northwest of Berlin, on the Havel River. Population, 25,000 (1973). Hennigsdorf, a port on the Oder-Havel Canal, has enterprises for the production of steel and rolled stock, electrical equipment, and locomotives.
