Athletes to be featured in the salutes include former University of Tennessee grad and NFL kicker Fuad Reveiz; Alabama's Lee Roy Jordan and David "Hoss" Johnson; Kenny Smith of the Ole Miss Rebels; Billy Howard, who played so many sports for Mississippi State that he is in the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame; LSU Heptathlete Amy Zeno Waquespack; University of Arkansas fullback Marvin Daily; Florida tight end Greg Kellar; South Carolina golfer Judge Charles Simons; and Georgia's Vince Fernandez. Sophomore heptathlete Dana Rattler has led the Cougars' women's team to a 10-2 record, and sophomore multievent standout Brian Belue has been pivotal in the men's team's 11-1 start. |
