Hickory Run State Park

Location: In the western foothills of the Pocono Mountains, off PA 534.
Facilities: 381 class A/B campsites, group tent camps, 2 group cabin camps, showers, pit and flush toilets, picnic area, picnic pavilion, snack bar, hiking trails (43 miles), cross-country skiing trails (13 miles), snowmobile trails (21 miles), swimming beach, disc golf course, fishing pier, amphitheater, camp store, playfield, playground.
Activities: Camping, fishing, swimming, hiking, hunting, disc golf, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, ice skating, snowmobiling, sledding, tobogganing, nature and historical programs.
Special Features: Located in the northeastern corner of the park is Boulder Field, a large area (400 feet by 1,800 feet) strewn with boulders, some as long as 25 feet. A National Natural Landmark, the site is flat and lacks vegetation, and has remained essentially unchanged for more than 20,000 years.
