High-Tech architecture

High-Tech architecture
A mode of architecture in which the building services are not only revealed, but are emphasized. For example, ducts and pipes may be painted in bright colors to indicate their respective functions. An outstanding example is the Pompidou Centre in Paris.

I particularly liked the way it was designed with the sandstone walls contrasting with the latest high-tech architecture, soaring glass and steel.
