Highway Service

Highway Service 

a rear service of the armed forces. It supports transportation of troops and materials and evacuation in operational army units to facilitate the timely movement of troops. It is in charge of traffic-patrol service and of reconnaissance, repair, restoration, construction, and operation of highways; it trains personnel for the road troops and participates in working out measures for preparing transportation routes in war theaters.
