For their work in analyzing the electrical and chemical events in nerve-cell discharge, he and Andrew Huxley Huxley, Andrew Fielding, 1917–, British research scientist, educated at University College, London. He finished his studies at Cambridge after doing operational research for the admiralty during World War II.
