Established: Authorized on October 21, 1972.
Location:In Sacaton, in south-central Arizona, north of Casa Grande.
Facilities:Not open to the public.
Special Features:Preserved here are the archeological remains of the Hohokam culture, including artwork, homes, irrigation canals, and tools dating from about 300 BC to AD 1200. Hohokam is a Pima Indian word meaning "those who have gone."
