Holman, (Nathan) Nat (1896– ) basketball player/coach; born in New York City. One of basketball's pioneers, he helped the Original Celtics win 720 of 795 games between 1921–28. A coach at City College of New York for 37 years (1920–52, 1955–56, 1959–60), he was elected to basketball's Hall of Fame in 1964.
