Location: In the southernmost part of eastern Massachusetts, at the western end of Buzzard's Bay.
Facilities: 100 campsites (including some @di sites), showers, restrooms (é), picnic areas (é), beaches (é), boat ramp, historic site.
Activities: Camping, boating (all types), fishing, swimming, windsurfing, bird watching.
Special Features: This 2-mile-long sandy beach is breezy year round and is one of the most popular ocean beaches on the Massachusetts South Shore. Its combination of ocean beach and estuary habitat makes it an excellent birding location as well.
