host ISP
The Internet service provider (ISP) that runs a Web site for a person or organization. The host ISP is responsible for the proper identification and administration of the domain name at the site. See Web hosting and managed services.

In this report, use of the term "standalone" or "independent" refers to an OTT service that is delivered over a Broadband connection without a formal business (shared revenue) arrangement with the host ISP or Operator.
Agilent Firehunter/e-Commerce monitoring includes synthetic transactions that repeatedly test both the user's experience with the commerce application and component operations managed by institutions that host ISPs do not control; for example, catalog look-up, credit verification and debiting and ordering.
The program is private labeled with the ISP identity so that the host ISP can offer its subscribers a branded solution for real-time multimedia training on various software, programming and soft skills courses as a value-added service.
